On this day in horror history.... April 24th, 1914
On this day in horror history.... The king of the theatrical gimmick, William Castle, is born. He took an already proven genre, horror, and put it on it's ear. Creating interactive film going, that made the audience a part of the action on the screen! Shocking people in their seats (literally), having ghosts swinging from the rafters and many other wonderful scary treats. Mr. Castle was never one to back down from finding a new way to make money.
