On this day in horror history.... April 22nd, 1935
On this day in horror history.... A film like no other, 'The Bride of Frankenstein' is released. The follow up to James Whales' original masterpiece, this film raised the bar for Universal horror. Almost to the point, of no one being able to surpass it. Containing comedic elements among the horror, it combined one of the original movie monsters with a mate. The fact that it still holds up today, is a tribute to Mr. Whale and what he created.
