On this day in horror history.... the original slasher icon, Anthony Perkins, was born. During the course of his career, he played many different roles and went on to become a well respected actor, but he could never escape his role as Norman Bates. A serial killer with serious mommy issues. No one will ever replace him, but his legacy lives on.
