On this day in horror history.... as odd looking as his books might suggest, Dean Koontz is born. An author who blends horror, as well as other elements, into his stories, Dean is most famous for 'Odd Thomas', 'Watchers' and 'Demon Seed'. He may not be at the top of my list, for horror writers, but the man's got chops.
