In Case You Missed It: Barry Bostwick is “FDR: American badass!”

If you checked out Creeper Classics (Creepercast Podcast Revisisted): Episode 60 w/Barry Bostwick! you heard the incredible Barry Bostwick (“Some Guy Who Kills People,” “Spin City”) talk about the fact that Abraham Lincoln wasn't the only American president that saved the American ideal in a brutal battle of wits and clever weaponry against insurmountable foreign monster odds (i.e. “Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter,” “Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies”)! That's right, Franklin Delano Roosevelt not only ran a country while struggling with polio, he also didn't let being confined to a wheel chair stop his ability to kick nazi werewolf ass! FDR: American Badass is a farce filled alternate history film starring Mr. Bostwick as the most wise cracking, vulgar, handicapped, badass American president this country has ever seen!

“FDR” is directed by Garrett Braweth (“The Legend of Bloody Jack,” “Poolboy”) and written by the young and hilarious Ross Patterson (“Accepted,” “7-10 Split”). It also features a veritable smorgasbord of well known actors including but not limited too Lin Shaye as Eleanor Roosevelt, Ray Wise as General MacArthur, Ed Metzger as Albert Einstein, and Kevin Sorbo as another version of the a fore mentioned Abraham Lincoln.

Here's the setup...
“After contracting polio from a venomous werewolf bite, FDR won't stop at single-handedly ending the Great Depression and prohibition. With the help of a team of historic figures, he must end WWII by exacting revenge on an army of Nazi-werewolves from the comfort of his Albert Einstein-designed wheelchair of death. An outrageous, over-the-top spoof, FDR: American Badass is the untold true story of our countrys greatest monster-hunting president!” (IMDB)

This movie is full of names you've heard before both historically and on screen, and is guaranteed to be a hilarious addition to the alternate history movement currently storming the horror genre.
