New Album The Sun Shining Cold out Later this Year

New Jersey heavy alt-rock artists VOODOO TERROR TRIBE are currently on the road with Latin metal kings Ill Niño on their "15 Years of Revolution" Tour. The band is gearing up to release a new album, The Sun Shining Cold, later this year - produced by Ill Niño vocalist Cristian Machado. In anticipation of the album's release, the band is pleased to reveal the music video for their new single "City of Sixes". You can watch it now via Loudwire's New Music Showcase: http://loudwire.com/new-music-showcase-exclusive-premieres-from-knee-high-fox-the-reaktion-voodoo-terror-tribe-zodiac/

The music video for "City of Sixes" is directed by Scott Hansen (Motionless in White, A Day To Remember, We Came As Romans) and produced by Mary Dixon and Bedelia Burris-McGrath, with co-production from VOODOO TERROR TRIBE and John Brennan.

Guitarist and synth programmer Emir Erkal states, "This new video is a camp-commentary on modern society, showing Voodoo Terror Tribe as something like 'bladerunners'; masquerading as musicians to snuff out a club full of party-goers for being "just too modern"."
The Sun Shining Cold promises to be VOODOO TERROR TRIBE's most sonically advanced offering yet! Producer Cristian Machado recognized the raw talent within the band and knew they had something special to offer to the rock scene. "This album is possibly one of the best metal albums I've ever been a part of," states Machado. "You don't always get to work with such talented musicians who just so happen to be mature and dedicated to bringing something fresh to the evolution of the genre. I comfortably refer to them as "haunted metal" but in all honesty they are a new breed of metal yet to be heard under this style and context. In my heart of hearts, I truly believe they are here to contribute an impressive approach and styling to the evolution of metal."
Erkal adds, "This is an album full of surprises, with heavy guitars and crushing drums, but yet melodic and catchy tunes with layers of haunted, mysterious, electronic and industrial sounds, with mainly dark, twisted concepts, where we're at a post-apocalyptic, decaying life, with still hopes to prevail and for the sun to shine hot again... I can proudly say that without a doubt this is the best work that we, as VOODOO TERROR TRIBE, have ever done and can't wait for everyone to hear!"
About VOODOO TERROR TRIBE:
Hailing from the Garden State of New Jersey and dedication to a melodically heavy brand of music, VOODOO TERROR TRIBE has high hopes for the near future. Formed by Emir Erkal on guitars (an Istanbul, Turkey native who moved to USA in order to take his musical career to the next level) and longtime friend T-Bone on drums, the duo soon brought in Primer on bass and topped off their alt-metal sound with the masterfully vocalized emotional poetry by vocalist Gil PZ.
Their discography includes 2005's Mandala EP, 2007's Alone In Pain, 2009's Symptoms of Sinrecorded with Billy Graziadei (Biohazard / Suicide City), 2011's Stands To Reason EP, which they toured heavily in support of. 2014's A Walk in Hell EP soon followed, featuring the track "BloodSoaked", which also was featured by way of music video and premiered via Revolver Magazine - taking the band to a whole new level. VOODOO TERROR TRIBE has previously performed with Biohazard, W.A.S.P., LA Guns, The Rods, Spread Eagle and beyond.
