On this day in horror history.... old school Peter Jackson releases his coup de grace, 'Braindead' aka 'Dead Alive'. A zombie film that takes things in an entirely different direction. It takes a lot to make this reviewer uneasy, but the lawnmower scene near the end is the definition of OVER THE TOP, in all the best ways. Fantastic film and worth your watch!
