On this day in horror history.... February 7th, 1980
On this day in horror history.... Ruggero Deodato unleashes one of the most notorious films of all time, 'Cannibal Holocaust'. One of the first, if not the first, found footage style of film. Although not traditional in today's sense of the word, it's still the progenitor. I may not ever need to see it again, but it's still a film every horror fan should see. It set the bar incredibly high for everyone that came after.
