On this day in horror history.... the King of Venereal Horror and the Baron of Blood, David Cronenberg, was born. Director of 'Rabid', 'The Brood', 'Scanners', 'Videodrome', 'The Dead Zone' and of course.... 'The Fly' among many others. He's also a screenwriter and actor too! Mr. Cronenberg is the complete package, when it comes to the world of the weirdly horrific. Happy Birthday!
