19th Annual Boston Underground Film Festival Opens Call for Submissions for 2017 Edition!

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The Boston Underground Film Festival (B.U.F.F.) is an annual festival committed to the celebration of alternative vision and cultivation of independent, provocative and experimental filmmaking. By featuring work that pushes the envelope in form, style and content, B.U.F.F. seeks to be a platform for the screening of new work and a forum for the exchange of ideas amongst filmmakers, curators and audiences.
The Boston Underground Film Festival announces its nineteenth annual competition, celebrating bizarre, insane film/video artists. The festival will be held the last week in March, 2017 and will include the best in provocative and experimental features, shorts, animation, and documentaries. The festival seeks the alternative, the confrontational, the political and the controversial. The festival is particularly interested in films that explore musical components, topics and themes. The Boston Underground Film Festival seeks films that celebrate the alternative vision and sound, offering a platform that encourages new ideas work and ideas, and pushes the envelope in style and content.

NEWS: CALL FOR ENTRIES – Razor Reel Flanders Film Festival 2016



Filmmakers, Sales Agents & Distributors from all over the world are welcome to submit their work for the 9th edition of the Razor Reel Flanders Film Festival, which will take place from November the 10rd till the 15th in Bruges.

For 2016 the festival is looking for Japanese short and feature films within the fantastic genres. (Sci-fi, Horror, Thriller, Fantasy, Black Comedy,...) as the RRFFF will participate in the 150th anniversary of the friendship between Japan & Belgium.

The RRFFF has 2 competitions: The Youngblood competition which is focusing on first or second genre films and the Méliès D’argent Competition for European short films (max length 20 mins).

Other genre films are of course also very welcome as well.
